Payment Terms of Service

These Payment Terms of Service ("Payment Terms") govern all financial transactions made through The Star Quality website located at thestarquality.com (the "Site"), operated by The Star Quality ("we," "us," or "our"). By completing a purchase or payment on this Site, you ("User," "you") agree to be bound by these Payment Terms in addition to our general Terms of Service.

1.1 — Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods through our secure payment processor, Stripe:

All payments are processed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated at checkout. Your card issuer may charge foreign transaction fees if your account is held in a different currency.

1.2 — Billing & Charges

All charges are billed at the time of purchase unless a subscription or deferred billing arrangement is explicitly stated. By providing your payment information, you authorize The Star Quality to charge the stated amount to your selected payment method.

For subscription-based services, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) until you cancel. You will receive a reminder email before each renewal where required by applicable law.

Prices displayed on the Site are inclusive of any applicable platform fees but exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

1.3 — Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge up to three (3) times over seven (7) days. If payment cannot be collected, access to any paid features or services may be suspended until the outstanding balance is resolved. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information remains current and accurate.

1.4 — Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. For subscription plans, price changes will take effect at the next billing cycle following at least thirty (30) days' notice. Continued use of paid services after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

1.5 — Taxes

You are responsible for all applicable taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. Where required by law, The Star Quality will collect and remit applicable taxes on your behalf. Tax amounts will be itemized at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your experience on The Star Quality. Please read our refund and cancellation terms carefully before making a purchase.

Summary: Most digital purchases are non-refundable once delivered or accessed. Subscription cancellations stop future billing but do not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. Exceptions exist for billing errors and unauthorized charges.

2.1 — Digital Products & One-Time Purchases

All sales of digital content, prediction access, premium features, or one-time purchases are final and non-refundable once the purchase is confirmed and access is granted, except as required by applicable consumer protection law or as described in Section 2.4 below.

Before completing a purchase, you are encouraged to review all product descriptions, feature lists, and pricing details. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you understand what you are buying.

2.2 — Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@thestarquality.com. Upon cancellation:

2.3 — Free Trial Conversions

If we offer a free trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial expires. You will not be charged during the trial period. Cancelling during the free trial will not incur any charges.

2.4 — Eligible Refunds

Refund requests may be considered in the following circumstances:

2.5 — How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at support@thestarquality.com within 14 days of the charge with your order confirmation, a description of the issue, and any supporting documentation. We will respond within 5–7 business days.

Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method. Processing times vary by card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).

2.6 — Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account during the dispute process. We encourage you to contact us first — we are committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly.

Privacy Policy — Payments

This section describes how The Star Quality collects, uses, and protects payment-related personal information. It supplements our general Privacy Policy and applies specifically to financial and payment data.

3.1 — Payment Data We Collect

When you make a purchase, the following categories of data may be collected:

We never store your full card number, CVV, or sensitive card data on our servers. All such data is tokenized and handled exclusively by Stripe.

3.2 — How We Use Payment Information

Payment information is used solely for the following purposes:

Processing and completing your transactions; sending you receipts, invoices, and payment notifications; resolving billing disputes or chargebacks; complying with legal and tax obligations; detecting and preventing fraud and unauthorized transactions.

We do not use your payment information for marketing purposes, nor do we sell or share it with third parties except as described in Section 3.3.

3.3 — Third-Party Payment Processor

We use Stripe, Inc. as our third-party payment processor. When you make a payment, your data is transmitted directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. Stripe's collection and use of your personal information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

We may also share payment-related data with tax authorities, law enforcement, or financial institutions as required by applicable law.

3.4 — Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your payment information, including TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmissions, compliance with PCI DSS standards through our use of Stripe, and access controls limiting who within our organization can view transaction records.

While we take reasonable precautions, no transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. If you believe your payment information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at support@thestarquality.com.

3.5 — Data Retention

We retain transaction records for a minimum of seven (7) years as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance purposes. You may request a copy of your transaction history by contacting us.

3.6 — Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Stripe Payment Processing Disclosure

The Star Quality uses Stripe, Inc. to securely process all payments. Your financial information is handled directly by Stripe and is subject to their privacy policy and terms of service.

4.1 — Payment Processor Identity

All payment transactions on thestarquality.com are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment service provider. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.

Stripe, Inc. is incorporated in Delaware, USA, with offices at 510 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94103.

4.2 — Data Transmitted to Stripe

When you complete a payment on this Site, the following information is transmitted directly to Stripe: payment card details (card number, expiration date, CVV); billing name and address; email address; purchase amount and currency; IP address and device information for fraud prevention.

This data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy and the Stripe Services Agreement. We encourage you to review these documents.

4.3 — Stripe's Role & Responsibilities

Stripe acts as an independent data controller for the payment data it processes on our behalf. The Star Quality does not store, view, or have access to your full card number or CVV. Stripe issues a secure token representing your payment method, which is used for recurring billing where applicable.

Disputes about charges that appear on your statement as "The Star Quality" or "Stripe" should first be directed to us at support@thestarquality.com. If unresolved, you may contact Stripe directly or dispute the charge through your card issuer.

4.4 — PCI Compliance

The Star Quality does not directly handle, store, or transmit cardholder data. By routing all payments through Stripe's secure infrastructure, we maintain PCI DSS compliance as a SAQ-A merchant. Stripe maintains the highest level of PCI certification (Level 1 Service Provider), and your card data is protected by Stripe's security infrastructure.

4.5 — Stripe's Terms of Service

By making a payment on this Site, you also agree to be bound by Stripe's Consumer Terms of Service. These terms govern Stripe's obligations to you as an end-user of their payment services, including dispute resolution, data handling, and applicable consumer protections.

Note: The Star Quality is the merchant of record for all transactions. Your billing statement will display a charge from The Star Quality. For any billing questions, please contact us at support@thestarquality.com before disputing a charge with your card issuer.

4.6 — International Transactions

This Site accepts payments from users worldwide where permitted by law. International transactions may be subject to currency conversion by Stripe or your card issuer. The Star Quality is not responsible for foreign exchange rates or any fees charged by your financial institution.
